Pepper is my parent's bed dog and a troublemaker to the core. She is the dog that would steal the sandwich from the table and put the cat there to take the fall! She was 1 point shy of her championship before she retired to a life of pop tarts and pepperoni. Pepper is Bronson'd sister and Bernie's mom |
Ch. Yupik's Lil Bit O Sass An uneducated breeder once told me Bernie would never amount to anything...Wow, they could not have been more wrong!! Bernie finished her championship easily with 3 major wins and BOS over ranked specials...but her stregnth was never really the show ring...it was in the lovable sound personalities she produced in her babies. Bernie boasts many major pointed and champion offspring who have contributed heavily to founding other breeder's programs by having Register of Merit offspring and to top it off many of her grankids have become speciaty winners on many levels !! Not bad for a bitch who would "never amount to anything"!!! Bernie is my foundation female and Bernie is forever engraved in my heart as one of the dearest and at times goofiest and brattiest shibas who has ever been in my life. Bernie is what made me have faith in this breed. Luv Ya Beaners!!!

Ch. HiTorq's All Torq'd Up Riverwind Pippin was a little red dynamo who finished very easily out of the puppy class with many big Breed wins to her credit. She is a Bernie daughter and has many of her mom's endearing traits. |

Elliott was close to finishing his championship when he was retired. As a Bernie son he carried her best trait...her personality. He was a solid dog and has several champion daughters and grandaughters that carry his look and legacy into the future through Charleen Maxim of Cape Cod Shibas |

HiTorq's Calamity Jane Of Fanfair What can we say about darling Janie...she was always in trouble with the law...where ever something was crashing down in the house Janie could be sure to be there. She is another Bernie daughter who is goofy to the core. She is a sound girl who has produced her soundness in her offspring. Janie lives with good friend Laura Payton of Fanfair Shibas. |
SanJo Miss Merry Mischief Pixie was never happy without a stuffy in her mouth while standing on your lap demanding your attention. This girl definitely pulls on your heartstrings. She never cared for show ring but was most comfortable doing therapy dog work. She now resides with a physically challenged boy in PA where they are best buds. |
HiTorq's All Revv'd Up Tank is a wonderful boy with stellar type , style and a personality that would melt anyone's heart. He was major pointed and well on the way to his title. Tank went to Mary and Deanna Rotkowski of Sno Storm Shibas to be shown by Handler Deanna Rotkowski...never to be returned. We will be seeking legal action against the Rotkowski's to obtain his rightful return. FLASH..Tank is finally home...see his webpage for more details! |
Saya is a Japanese import and the mother of HiTorq's Yabosami at Eubar. Saya is full of shiba smiles and kisses...she actually grins!!! She was retired midway through her championship because her color was too light for my taste. Instead Saya went to live with a little black and Tan shiba named Milo and the Vonnaham family where I understand she has taken over in her famous shiba style. |
HiTorq's The Temptress Delilah is a die hard character...life in her world is not possible without a ball in her mouth. She would have us all in stitches watching her in action with her Malamute best friend Digger. She is a vey missed personality around my house but is simply enjoying her retirement in Philadelphia hiking on the trails with her new owners. Delilah was never shown due to her sesame color...she however contributed her stellar movement, exceptional tail and sparkling personality to her son ReRun (Ch. HiTorq's Instant Replay at Eubar) in her one and only breeding before her retirement. Rerun was a top 20 rated dog on the way to finishing in 6 straight shows at 6 months old with multiple Best of Breeds and a Group 2 from the puppy class. He is a credit to his mother in many ways |
Cha Cha (Izuminohana go Hashimotosou ROM) Cha Cha arrived at HiTorq a couple of years ago after being owned by Diana Smiley of Copperdot Shibas. She is a shy personality when it comes to showing but a wonderful dog in every other regard. She adores couches with her favorite stuffie...of which there are many. ChaCha is an avid climber and a socialite with all the dogs she ran with. She is a Register of Merit producer and her daughters with her most favorite man Fuji are fabulously outgoing and beautiful. Diana Smiley has never once inquired about Cha Cha's well being after all of these years, but yet she is offended that she was not considered when I chose to give Cha Cha's daughters to my closest friends to be raised. Well Cha Cha girl after all you have contributed to this breed...you have family now that loves you dearly for just who you are and not what you can give to them! Cha Cha lives in creature comfort on the couch with several cats and an akita with . |
Fuuga was bred by a Japanese kennel called Hirosesou. He is a son of Shundo Go. Fuuga was never shown because he had a bad bite (wry mouth) and his movement was not acceptable for an AKC ring...but man Fuuga was full of energy and style. His teenager antics were only topped by his abilty to hit high C at a moments notice. Fuuga was an avid ball chaser and Malamute chaser. He now lives the life of a highly pampered pet with the Owens family and their boys! |
Nami was bought from Izumisou kennels with the assistance of Eisha Nakano. Nami is a very shy dog and a spinner. Spinning is an inheritable condition that is a severe hindrance on a dogs quality of life. Nami is closely related to many Kisaragi offspring including Ch. Kisaragi Bunshirou Amamisou and Ch. Kisaragi Kotaro Go Amamisou. Nami is lovingly cared for by Sharon Roble and her friend Monica who have given her patience and kindness despite her geneic issues |
