At HiTorq I have always chosen to REJOICE in the wins of our offspring, the children of our offspring and sires and dogs owned by myself and their breeders. The true definition of Rejoice is to feel joyful; to be delighted! I do not post HiTorq wins for ANY other purpose than to express the joy I feel at the results of the hard work in planning, training and cultivating my kids for the show ring....and believe me to do it right...takes hard work...every day of the year...not just 5 minutes before the show. I also do it so I may share, with my friends and family, the fruits of their labors and love! Here you will find no falsely advertised wins and exploited wins where no other competators were present...just real earned achievements...we don't need to make up significant placements...we win them the old fashioned way! For many years when I could not engage in the breeding program of my desire, I worked hard with what I had and planned and dreamed of the future when I could...that day has finally arrived in the last several years and I am thrilled as I watch these dogs make their mark on the breed and the offspring of HiTorq dogs bring smiles and joy to the faces of their owners and supporters. I have had a fun couple of years in the breed doing it my way...FINALLY...and I have many people to thank...who without their help and support none of this dream would ever have been possible...I know that and continue to work very hard to represent your hopes and aspirations to the best of my ability. You all know who you are because you are all a significant part of my daily life....and I am so pleased by the work and love you have put into all the dogs that bear both yours and my name! |
We confide [that is, have confidence] in our strength, without boasting of it; we respect that of others, without fearing it (Thomas Jefferson).

Definition of a Specailty Show...The AKC has specialty shows on the National and regional levels. These shows represent a gathering of the top dogs in the country. A specialty win either at the regional level and especially at the national level is a very commendable accomplishment for any dog.
BSA and Colonial Classic shows are the only two NIPPO supported events in the United States. Both shows draw some of the top dogs in the country at the event that is ultimately judged by a Japanese judge who is a member and judge within the NIPPO organization.
NIPPO is the official registery and competition forum for shibas in their original coutry of origin ...Japan...a Grand national in japan can draw 700-800 shibas in one day to be judged!
